About Us

Spirit of Now Media is a digital film and photography service specializing in wedding and events, based in British Columbia, Canada.   The principal filmmaker, photographer, editor and printmaker is Heather Grant.  We are also registered with Industry Canada.

Heather is an alumna of the British Columbia Institute of Technology Film Program for independent film production.  She takes a photojournalistic approach to wedding and event photography, sometimes collaborating with qualified videographers to enhance video coverage as required by the event.

MegaPix Media is our sister company, providing digital film and photography branding for professionals and businesses in Greater Vancouver.

Mission

Our mission is to practice photography and it's derivative processes as an artful experiment in storytelling. 

Continuous improvement in technique and execution is critical to our artistic growth.  We enthusiastically apply skills and imagination to all components of the creative process to ensure a personalized result for our clients.

We commit to performing the following processes ourselves: 

Digital Film: preproduction, photography, editing and burning (unless disk burning  volume requires otherwise).

Digital Photography: photography, processing, printing and album preparation.
