Spirit of Now Media proudly supports the Nature Conservancy of Canada and WBT Wild Bird Trust of British Columbia.

Vancouver, BC, July 24, 2008 — The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) today announces a bold commitment to protect 550 square kilometres of remote valleys, mountains and lakes in south-central British Columbia. The acquisition of an exceptional property, known as Darkwoods, launches the largest, single private conservation project ever undertaken by a Canadian non-profit organization.

The WBT Wild Bird Trust of British Columbia has a site located at the Maplewood Conservation Area in North Vancouver off the Dollarton Highway.  The links provided are to a chiefly pictorial site provided by Greater Vancouver Parks for WBT.  It provides a map to the Conservation area and features their wildlife photographer's shots of indigenous species of butterflies, birds, frogs, flowers, etc.
